Kissimmee: S. Beach Circle Homicide

Date: November 16, 2009

Jeffrey Lee Harnish was found dead inside of his residence located at 1229 South Beach Circle in Kissimmee. The circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious in nature.

 
 
 
 

Orlando: Botany Court Homicide

Date: November 11, 2009

Victim: Mark A. Clark

Black Male, Date of birth: 12/28/83

Location: 5369 Botany Court

Officers responded to the above location and found the victim was found outside the residence fatally shot.

 
 
 
 

Mascotte: Auto Sales Homicide

Date: November 11, 2009

Victim: Guradath Persaud

On Saturday 11/07/2009, at approximately 3:36pm, Mascotte Police Officers responded to #12 West Myers Blvd., Mascotte, FL (Mascotte Auto Sales), for a reported unconscious person. Upon arrival, the body of the victim was discovered inside the business. The cause of death was determined to be Blunt Force Trauma. The victim was last seen alive at approximately 11:00pm on Friday 11/06/2009 by an employee. The victim did not return home on Friday evening, 11/06/2009, according to family members.

Orange: Royal Palms Homicide

Date: September 11, 2009

Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a shooting at 2860 West Pine Hills Road, Royal Palms Apartments, #129. Upon arrival deputies discovered a 38 year old Hispanic male in the parking lot with at least one, possibly two gun shot wounds. Witnesses advised that the suspects are two black males with dreadlocks wearing all black clothing. Composite sketch of shooter, pictured at left. Witnesses also advised of an altercation or fight prior to shots being fired. The suspects fled the scene, on foot, possibly towards the Seville Place Apartments following the shooting.

Orlando: Ivey Lane Homicide

Date: May 27, 2009

At approximately 12:00 am OPD patrol officers were dispatched to 701 S Ivey Lane, Lake Mann Apartments reference a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers found the victim, a 32 year old male, deceased inside a vehicle. The incident appears to be an attempted robbery.

  Frederick R. Davis

Orlando: Lake Mann Homicide

Date: May 12, 2009

At approximately 7:40pm on May 12th, patrol was dispatched to shots fired in the 3600 Block of North Lake Mann. Officers arrived to find that the victim, Frederick R. Davis B/M 4/15/72 (at left), had been shot while inside his vehicle at that location. Members of the Orlando Fire Department, who heard the shots, responded and pronounced Davis dead at the scene. Witnesses advised that a possible suspect vehicle, that was seen fleeing the area, was described as a gold or tan SUV.

Date: March 31, 2009

On March 31, 2009, at approximately 11:00pm the listed victim was killed in his home located at 6518 Coral Cove Dr.

Shantrell Clayton

Melbourne: Two Shot, One Homicide

Date: March 31, 2009

The Melbourne Police Department has identified the two victims that were shot during a fight at the corner of Monroe St. and University Blvd. Melissa McNeil dob 8/14/71 of Melbourne, was pronounced dead at Holmes Regional Hospital, and Shantrell Clayton who is in stable condition, dob 5/25/90 of Melbourne. Information was received that a fight between several females had taken place at Lipscomb Street Park, and moved to the corner of Monroe St. and University Blvd. That’s when unknown person(s) starting firing a weapon, hitting McNeil and Clayton.

Melbourne: Two Shot, One Homicide

Date: March 11, 2009

Officers responded to Vacation Lodge to find 62 year old Lawrence Stefkovich deceased. Mr. Stefkovich resided for approximately 2 years at the Vacation Lodge. He left and then recently returned to the Vacation Lodge. Details on manner and cause of death will not be released. The motive for the murder is undetermined at this time.

 
 
 
  Javiera Torres-Rivera "Peluca"

Orange: Royal Grande Homicide

Date: March 1, 2009

During the afternoon of March, 1, 2009 victim Javiera Torres-Rivera was shot to death in the area of the Royal Grande Apartments near Americana Blvd and Texas Ave. Victim went by nickname of “Peluca”.

 
 
 
  Nicholas Rodriguez

Orlando : Yucatan Homicide

Date: February 22, 2009

On 2/22/09, at approximately 7:30 pm, patrol officers responded to the area of Appian Way and Yucatan Drive in reference to a shooting. Officers found the victim Nicholas Rodriguez, W/M 10/16/85, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Witnesses advised after hearing multiple gunshots, they saw the victim fall in the roadway as a dark colored sedan fled the scene northbound.
